Meet Luke

When it comes to being a high achiever Luke, albeit quietly, has this quality in spades..

One of the fundamentals is working hard & having fun doing it, in an industry that directly rewards hard work.

Luke says it all begins at home each day, on a forested hillside a few minutes from Noosa at Doonan: “We’re first to see the sun in Noosa, and after cups of tea with Kim, it’s away to the office through green pasture land and horse properties, and along the Noosa River at Noosaville where locals walk their dogs each morning. I cannot think of a better way to start the day.

“There’s something comforting about living in the Noosa shire, going back to the relaxed, happy souls who came here years ago - and actually stopped to smell the roses. Thankfully, forward-thinking civic leaders steered us to low-rise, uncluttered development, and continue protecting our green backdrops and clear waterways. It's also such a safe place to raise kids or retire.”

Meeting successful and interesting people continues to be a highlight in Luke’s career. But “what really warms me is the call I get from someone I've helped previously, who wants advice again” says ever-smiling Luke, whose contact base has been built over several decades.

“You’re never too old to learn, and skills training is ongoing. Patience and level-headedness are critical skills, especially in the final phase of negotiation when the less experienced can lose sight of who is actually paying our fee”.

Luke’s easy-going relaxed manner belies a strong competitive streak, supported by a winning team sharing the office, and an inspirational leader who continues to reset the bar. “I value smart leadership that fosters the work ethic with no room for arrogance or complacency”.
